I’m currently working on adding multitasking support to TrackLogger. I don’t have a lot of spare time at the moment so the changes to the application will take some time. I’ll add a new blog post when the new version is sent in for review.
The new version will be able to track your position even while you’re using another application as long as the other application doesn’t require the full memory of the phone (such as a premium game, or very full featured application).

The update is finally approved and TrackLogger 1.0.1 is now available on the App Store. If you already own ApertureGPS an update is waiting for you on the App Store. The name had to change because the Apple naming policy states that the name of an application must not be associated with the name of an Apple application.
The new feature of this version is that the .gpx file is zipped before it is sent. This was done to avoid issues with some email applications.
